We know from instinct that the computers from Apple, whether desktop or portable, are ultra-cool. Techs and other techie types know this. Power users admire the Mac’s underlying Unix operating system. Ordinary office workers are enthusiastic about its ease of use and eye candy. In short, everybody loves a Macintosh.
But the ultimate judge of what cool is are celebrities. Regardless of how ugly things are, they suddenly become beautiful once celebrities use them. If gadgets like Apple’s Macintosh are cool to start with, they will be way more cooler if adopted by celebrities. So, are they? Yes they are!
